Different parts of the face have different skin thicknesses, which means the needle depth should be adjusted accordingly. Going too shallow may limit results, while going too deep can cause unnecessary irritation.
Below is a guide to help you understand microneedling depths for various areas of the face:
Forehead

Recommended Depth: 0.25 mm – 0.5 mm

The forehead skin is thinner and closer to the bone. Using shallow depths helps stimulate collagen while minimizing discomfort.
Cheeks
